This privacy policy (together with our terms & conditions) describes how we deal with personal information we collect from you, the individual purchasing and using our services through the site on behalf of your company, firm or organisation or an individual user of the service (incl. reviewers).

1. Information we collect from you (company, merchant, reviewer)

We may collect and process the following data about you:

    information that you provide by filling in forms and reviews on our site reTrusted.com (our site) including any variant domain or subdomain thereof. This includes information you provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to and purchasing our services, posting or uploading material on or to our site (including any images of you) or requesting further services or information from us through the "contact" section of the site. For the purpose of shopper reviews this explicitly includes personal opinions about your shopping experience. We may also ask you for information if you report a problem with our site;

    if you contact us for any reason, we may keep a record of that communication;

    we may also ask you to complete reviews and surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them;

    details of transactions made through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders;

    details of your visits to our site incl., but not limited to, traffic & location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you accessed;

    we may collect standard log information about your computer, including your IP address, OS and browser type for system administration and anonymous aggregate statistical information to selected advertisers who from time to time may advertise relevant and complementary products on our site. This is statistical data about our users' browsing patterns, and does not identify any individual. This data will be deleted according to the legal requirements.

2. Where we store your details and data

    Payment transaction information may be stored on our servers and is passed to a payment processing company to process on our behalf.

    Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.     In particular, we will pass your details to appropriate payment processing providers for the purpose of administering payments for transactions conducted via our site. Our current payment processor provider is PayPal and Braintree. We may choose to change our payment provider at any time.

    In particular, we can publish any merchant ratings and product reviews to the public revealing, however, only your first name. This constitutes an important basis of our services and anybody submitting ratings and reviews must be aware of this.

Our site may, from time to time, contain links to & from the websites of our group companies, advertisers and affiliates. If you click on a link to any of these websites, please be aware that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. 7. Accessing your data & information

    The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. You can find out if we hold any personal information about you by making a "subject access request" under the Data Protection Act 1998. If we do hold information about you we will:

    - give you a description of it
    - tell you why we are holding it
    - tell you who it could be disclosed to
    - and let you have a copy (electronic)

    Any access request should be made in writing to the address below and may be subject to a fee of 10 GBP or 17 USD to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
